Rittergut Mosisgreut is a countryside barn wedding venue surrounded by fields, trees and soft rolling hills in the Allgäu region of Germany. It has a peaceful and warm feeling — nothing too polished or formal, just honest rural charm. This made it a perfect setting for this international wedding of Antonia and John, where guests came from different countries. Everyone could explore the beauty of the local nature — small forests, open green meadows, fresh countryside air.
The Allgäu region is known for its lakes, mountain views and traditional village culture, which gives the whole wedding weekend a calm and welcoming atmosphere. There are many cute local guesthouses and small hotels nearby, making it easy for guests to stay close and enjoy the surroundings. The venue itself also offers stylish rooms and cozy accommodations for the couple and closest family, plus outdoor spots where guests can camp or stay overnight under the stars.
The venue offers a spacious inner courtyard with an old linden tree, surrounded by a 10,000 m² historic garden. The 380 m² barn provides a flexible celebration space — perfect for dancing, dinner, or moving indoors in case of bad weather. Simone and Bruno, the owners, are incredibly kind and always ready to help with anything you may need. They even took the extra effort to find me a huge ladder so I could capture a group photo of all the guests from above.
Photographing this day felt very natural — I simply followed the moments as they unfolded, without forcing anything. The calm surroundings and rustic charm of the venue helped create portraits that feel honest, timeless and elegant. If you're planning a relaxed, international wedding in the Allgäu or anywhere in Bavaria, I’d love to document it in the same warm and natural way.
