I value authenticity. Love is love, no matter who loves whom and how they wish to express it. Just live through it. Laugh. Cry. Feel moved. Be loved. Don't worry much about being awkward. We all are sometimes. I wanna listen to you in a way that makes you feel heard, to tell a story that reflects your true nature. There is nothing more beautiful than the connection between you and your partner.
I am letting the celebration of your love live its own life, capturing every sparkle of feeling, every tiny smile, kiss, glance, and every detail that makes your day unique. I am not directing things or people too much, however, I am happy to guide you if something is not going in the right direction, I allow myself to intervene.
I love to let myself be moved by the observation of light in my everyday life. Light is just magical, it's capable of transforming a plain image into something extraordinary, and it makes your portraits flattering and evocative. I am deeply inspired by the intense contrasts between light and darkness, the same as by the warm glow and low contrast of the golden hour before sunset. I see your photograph, as a picture painted by the sun.
Coming from a photojournalistic background I have a passionate affection for unexpected moments, transcending the conventional expectations often associated with wedding photography. I find joy in those instances when the improbable happens, and that's precisely when I come into play. Occasionally, even random joggers might become intentional components within your wedding snapshots.
Influenced deeply by the authenticity of analog family snapshots, I cherish delving into the world of black-and-white, grainy, and occasionally blurry photographs—a vital part of my family's legacy. I’m filled with gratitude when I see the pictures my Granddad captured, even more so after his passing. They depict my grandma as a young, tender girl, showcase the love between my teenage parents, and resurrect the enchanting moments of our childhood on my face. These pictures, at times, bring me to tears and, at others, put a heartfelt smile. My sincere wish is to provide you with a similarly emotional journey through your wedding pictures.
